PUFFS

戮 cup water

录 cup butter or margarine

录 tsp. salt

戮 cup all-purpose flour

3 eggs, lightly beaten

FILLING AND TOPPING

1-8 oz. container Cool Whip

陆 cup powdered sugar

陆 tsp. double-strength vanilla

录 cup prepared chocolate frosting, melted

2 T. chopped pistachios or almonds

Preheat oven to 375掳.

For puffs, in 1.5 qt. saucepan, combine water, butter and salt; bring to a boil over high heat. Add flour all at once. Using scraper, stir mixture vigorously about 1 minute or until mixture leaves sides of pan and forms into a ball. Remove from heat; place dough into Classic Batter Bowl. Add eggs and whisk until smooth and very thick.

Lightly spray mini muffin pan. Using small scoop, scoop batter into cups. Bake 22-25 minutes or until deep golden brown. Remove from oven and make a small cut into side of each puff to release excess steam. Remove puffs from pan to cooling rack, cool completely.

For filling, combine Cool Whip, powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix gently until well blended. With easy-accent decorator, fill with filling and pipe into center of each puff. For topping, place frosting in prep bowl; microwave on high 5-10 seconds or until melted. Drizzle frosting over puffs and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Serve immediately.Does anyone have the Pampered chef cream puffs recipe?

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup all-purpose flour

4 eggs

DIRECTIONS

1) Mix together vanilla instant pudding mix, cream and milk. Cover and refrigerate to set.

2) Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

3) In a large pot, bring water and butter to a rolling boil. Stir in flour and salt until the mixture forms a ball. Transfer the dough to a large mixing bowl. Using a wooden spoon or stand mixer, beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto an un-greased baking sheet.

4) Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown. Centers should be dry.

5) When the shells are cool, either split and fill them with the pudding mixture, or use a pastry bag to pipe the pudding into the shells.
